Great. I hate it. I don’t want more TOS. It’s been done. Twice!

I agree that this era of Trek is getting overworn, and I’m very ready to focus on another time period with new and different characters. A break will be nice, at last.

Well at least with SNW there seemed to be an attempt at forging a different vibe with a different kind of captain with a new crew.

That it seems the show is and was always meant to be part prequel, and even as the show runners hunt in the article, something that just becomes a flat reboot (which I’m sure is on the table at paramount) … Is just a huge turn off. To me, it’s a low point in Trek. TOS itself and all the TNG era shows tried to forge something new and different. Rebooting TOS only 10 years since the last time it was rebooted?! Come on!

My hope of that it persists as secondary line through the show. But the amount of Kirk and Scotty we got this season was a lot!, so maybe I shouldn’t be hopeful!
