I hope the third party releases their findings, for better or for worse
Right now all we really have are "he said, she said" and it's about very serious topics, so I would like to see what actually happened
To be clear, I'm not saying Madison is lying; what I am saying is I just want the full truth from a 3rd, unbiased party, so I think hiring an external investigator is the right decision here.
My Corp hired third party investigators. They'll give you the dirt and suggestions but will not publicly release any of the findings. That's up to the company that hired them to do and often they bury it or hand wave it away saying the investigation is complete and we have somethings to internalize npah blah blah.
The post literally says they are committed to publishing. I understand everyone’s skepticism of it but at least allow the transgression to happen first.
If you listen to the internal discussion meeting, from when that ex-employee left, they indicate that they have disclosure requirements, or more correctly privacy requirements that prevent them from talking about these issues externally. So even a very thorough investigative report will put them in a position where they can't publish it unredacted, and the redacted version won't satisfy the public. It's a catch-22 situation for them. But I'm glad they're at least going as far down the path as they can. It'll be impossible to satisfy everyone, and clear the name entirely, or disprove things even. But they're doing what they can
LMG isn't like a lot of other companies, they're more open
Also, hopefully at least some of the leadership would realize the best way to get out of this is by being open about the problems and how you are working on fixing them
Edit: Of course I'm getting downvoted even though I was right and the CEO said they would publish the findings
Bad moment to say anything positive about LTT, even if it's true😂
I know... I'm really trying to just be objective, but everyone's already made up their mind without waiting on the third party investigation or anything
However, if the allegations are true though then it isn't true and I was wrong
Due to the mentioning of emails, there should absolutely be some sort of paper trail that the investigation will hopefully find to corroborate at least some of her claims
I hope any paper/email trails that shed light on this situation are found and we can just get to the bottom of this quickly, so that the right thing can be done. If Linus/others at LMG are scumbags, I hope they get fired immediately and have to pay for what they did. If not, then I just wonder why Madison was saying these things (not saying it did or didn't happen, just trying to theorize about all possibilities)
