Why would anyone pre order a digital game?
It really depends on where you live.
In my country, inflation is running amok, and you're better off paying today because publishers/developers on Steam change their prices constantly to keep up with the local mayhem. And this year we have presidential elections, so who knows what things will look like in September...
(Personally, while I was looking forward to this one, I think they have gone too far with the local price, so I won't pre-order. And here I thought CS2 was too expensive!)
