What is the black and red flag??

[–] Frog-Brawler@kbin.social 24 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (2 children)

Anarcho-syndicalism. Not straight up Anarchism - that flag is all black. The anarcho-syndicalist would likely be kicking the Gadsden Flag person though.

I thought red and black was anarcho communism

[–] Frog-Brawler@kbin.social 8 points 1 year ago (1 children)

That too, but most commonly anarcho syndicalism in my experience. Here's a decent resource for you: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/ef/Anarchist_flags_and_stars-2019.svg

That site has yellow fascists / yellow monarchists, "An"Caps listed, they aren't anarcho anything.

I think you might be looking at a different site, or the reply is intended for a different comment. The link I posted was flags but there's nothing about monarchists, but I do agree than An-Caps aren't really a thing.

That is not correct. Black and red has a variety of meanings, anarcho syndicalist ones being part of them. Anarcho communism is now more common for that combination. I do absolutely agree with you that they would join in and kick the gadsen person and my gay comrades would join in, too.

Maybe it depends where you live. In my experience, it's 100% of the time been used by Anarcho-Syndicalists.

Generally speaking a leftist anarchist flag, more specifically the flag of anarcho-syndicalists in the Spanish civil war
