And so say we all. Been a while since the Great Deredditing but is there any other app we can use for Lemmy that is closest to rif? Using Jerboa right now but theres still a lot to be wanted.
Liftoff is a little better.
Second liftoff. Tried sync today and saw the "sponsored content" blocks and went right back to liftoff.
Same. Liftoff is good. Missing a few key features I'd really like. But the dev seems to be listening to feature requests so I'm hopeful
3rding liftoff. I am not sure how this is on other apps but I like being to browse multiple instances on their front page
Haven't seen any ads on Sync, but I've only been using it for like an hour or 2 now.
I couldn't stand the other apps for Lemmy. They felt too disjointed. Plus coming from Sync for Reddit, I just get the same look and feel that I'd been using for years, so there's a definite bias.
Apparently Boost came to Lemmy too, so might give that a go too.
You can pay to remove the ads.
I've been enjoying Connect. It's much simpler than the other apps I've tried.
I've got Connect to look pretty similar to how I had RiF.
Was going to give Sync a try but after reading the terms I don't agree to the tracking for Google analytics and Amazon whilst Connect doesn't collect any data.
I installed Connect a couple of days ago and I really like it. Plenty of customization available and you can block instances.
Lifeoff for sure
I've been spending sometime customizing sync for lemmy to get it close to rif. It's not rif but very close
I've been jumping between Connect and Thunder. I like both to be closer to RiF than Jerboa, and I find Connect to be the best experience.
Sync just released.
