Okay, I don't have an iphone, but if I did that would make my life a lot easier.
Also, what about sideloading of apps? Is that a thing in iOS 17 now?

I would expect Apple to drag its feet and wait until iOS 17.3 or 17.4 to finally enable sideloading.
Annoying, but as long as they do it I'll be pleased. I'm hoping this'll also mean that we'll get some browsers that aren't Safari in a trench coat.
Well technically you can install 3rd party apps using AltStore since iOS 14 (?). It’s a hassle to set up and you have to be at home every week (it needs to be at same network with your pc). But you don’t need rooting!!!
And since I sideload only YouTube and YouTube music (same apps as I had sideloaded with android) and I after Covid still don’t travel for longer than 1 week.
(Yes, I lost bet and I had to start using iPhone for two years)
Same as wam ice cream - no ☹️
I believe it is US/some regions only, unfortunately :(
I thought it was the other way around since it's the EU that's forcing the change.
Oh sorry! My comment was a bit vague, meant the feature which recognises symbols and such (visual look up?).
