So if a society wanted to reduce the harm from accidental fentanyl overdoses it might consider legalizing access to pharmaceutical quality opioids.

FWIW, fentanyl is laced in everything nowadays, not just opiates.

Name a street drug, it’s probably been cut with fent somewhere. I recently heard of a few dudes who died with tainted coke.
