That post is surreal. I'm going to delete my 17 year old account on Monday, will use it to try to bring people to Lemmy until then.
I'm going to keep mine, but run a script that edits every comment I ever made to say I've moved to Lemmy and encourage others to also

that's the one, just don't select delete comments, keep that unticked. Then put what you want in the edit field
Haha, I tried to do that, added a "You can find me at ...", but then forgot to uncheck the option to delete posts and submissions. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
I ended up just deleting my 17-yeard old account.
