Looking back, I’m glad spez became such an antagonistic jackass. Otherwise, there’s no telling when I would have discovered Lemmy/Kbin, and I’m much happier here. I wouldn’t go back to reddit even if they undid all the recent changes.

Imagine if they undid the changes, removed spez, and joined the fediverse.

I discovered Lemmy in 2019, but didn't join until iamthatis's post. Lemmy had basically no users before then.
