I don’t love the idea of people advertising their apps here

Thanks for voicing your opinion. I've brought it up to the mod team and we agree, and I think it's considered an ad. We've clarified the rules regarding this and will start a monthly self promo thread starting August. I've created a post here for this rule clarification.
