The map is for a theme park in another country roughly based on where he is. The backpack is full of all the cool rocks he found.
He cannot feel the cold any more. He feels warm. He feels like now would be an ideal time for a nap.
One of the better ways to go… With your coolest rocks.
This is why you should always take a few essentials in your pack- like a survival blanket. And water. Some snacks. Fire tools. Cocaine.
