Date: 29/11/24 Time: 20:07-21:26 Location: RAF Lakenheath, UK.

Second attempt as previous was deleted by automod due to lack of date/time/location.

I drove to the RAF Lakenheath base and arrived around 8pm. There was a fixed-wing aircraft (very feint combustion engine sounds) doing circuits around the base perimeter - it looked odd because its lights were fixed on - no blinkenflashen at all. As it moved around the base, different lights could be seen on it - I'm presuming bc of roll/pitch/yaw - a prominent red one at front, white/green on the sides and white at the rear. Who it belongs to I couldn't say but the pattern looked very 'surveillancey' and it didn't look as though it would be difficult to remove from the equation militarily.

Another guy was there who pointed out the lights directly above the base. They would appear, move around a bit and then disappear. A couple came from the far left of the base where there are trees, floated above the base and then blinked out. Light conditions and my amateurish photography skills resulted in nothing conclusive, I'm afraid, but there are definitely 'things' floating about above the base. Aside from being above an air base and appearing/disappearing, they didn't display any remarkable flight characteristics.

Images in the link are a good representation of what the naked eye could see, plus some images that give a reasonable perspective of what they look like above the base. The gifs are from rapid-fire photos as video simply didn't do the job.

I'm at work but feel free to AMA and I'll do my best to answer. x
