Original Title: To the foreign “drone” theorists: Explain to me how any big foreign adversary can deploy a “drone” to mainland US, hover for hours above 12,000 feet, recon and fly away, without intervention. What in your mind is the engineering logic to be able to do that?

I’d like an answer because I think using the foreign “drone” theory is a lazy and half-assed explanation without the engineering logic to go with it.

Also “drone deployment platforms” from sea, must have accompanied logic to demonstrate how a seaborne deployment platform can be within range of mainland US without detection…
