A new patch just dropped for Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun. It targets PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC, and brings a slew of quality of life fixes, bug fixes, and more!

Do you like cheat codes? With this patch you can use them to unlock all weapons and/or give yourself infinite ammo!

Of particular interest to Steam Deck owners is that this patch fixes cutscene playback on the Steam Deck. According to the developers, this means that the game is now fully compatible with that platform.

You can check out the details of the patch here. And remember, Boltgun is still 20% off as part of the Steam Summer Sale.

Nice I'll have to check this out now on the Deck

I just picked this up in the sale and this is a genuinely fun game. I’m not even a Warhammer fan but this is very reminiscent of Doom with both the graphics and enemy types. It’s a pretty short game, I’m about 5 hours in and just over halfway through.

Damn I'm slow, I'm 20 hours in and I'm half-way done with the third act.

Fuuuuuuuuuck. I just uninstalled it last week cause of crashes loading into level 3. Guess I’m reinstalling!

Does this mean cutscenes work with vanilla proton? It worked fine before except for the cutscenes, even proton-ge had some issues running the cutscenes.

As I haven’t seen the Steam Store page for BoltGun switch from Unsupported to Playable I would assume that is what was meant.

I love all the taunts/lines in this game so much. It actually helped me rethink the cleric class in dnd.
