I have accounts on several instances. When I seemingly switch between instances (using the drop-down menu at the top of the screen), the posts remain the same. For example, posts stickied by mods on Beehaw will still be visible when I switch to lemmy.world. My profile won’t be visible, either.

Apologies, I don’t know how to report bugs. Is this a known issue? Is the answer something obvious that I can fix myself? Do I even report bugs here? Do you need more information? Please excuse my ignorance, and THANK YOU for a great app (which I’m using right now)!

Is the top right icon a globe? The default I believe is to show posts from All instances, rather than local (your own instance) or subscribed communities only. Just tap the globe to change it, or set a different default in the settings.

I just tried it out. There does not appear to be a difference between Local and All. There seem to be no changes, and stickied posts from one particular instance still show up.

When you refresh your feed after switching to your other username, it doesn’t refresh with posts from your changed profile?

Nope. No changes at all, except the only apparent difference is that my profile won’t load. Bummer.

This has happened to me several times. I had to go into accounts and reauthenticate.
