These are not enforced, but they are encouraged.
Rules:

- Posts must be related to the Steam Deck in an obvious way.
- No piracy, there are other communities for that.
- Discussion of emulators are allowed, but no discussion on how to illegally acquire ROMs.
- This is a place of civil discussion, no trolling.

Yeah, it's super annoying. Have to plug the deck back in to the external screen, shut it down, unplug it, and restart.

Ironically, I had this issue a lot more often with my official licensed SteamDock than with a random USB C to HDMI adapter I dug out of storage.
Is it the same as "sometimes when I go to Desktop Mode undocked, KDE decides that I have zero screens" and I'm staring at blackness? I have to ssh in and shutdown to fix it.
Not reboot, shutdown. If I reboot, the next time I go into desktop mode I'll get the same thing. I think there is some ring < 0 or EC shenanigans going on there.
Our steamdeck gets the most use connected to an external display with us playing local multiplayer games, the blank screen sleep / resume issues being fixed will be really nice, I am tired of having to fiddle with it every few sessions.
