I wonder how Libreddit still works. l heard there are upcoming changes to workaround the new API but so far I havent noticed anything different on my own instance?

They don't relay on reddit API. They have their own unofficial API. โ
oh I see, maybe that's what makes is reeeaally slow, but as @Midas kindly offered his libreddit instance in anther comment, I believe I'll be using that one for now since is way faster and I only check the urkaine war related subs anyway
Teddit is great, it's the only way I browse reddit these days. There's a great browser extension called Libredirect that redirects reddit pages to teddit or libreddit, as well as supporting many privacy frontends for other services.
