I'm checking out flowly right now. I'm looking for a kanban board that optimally connects with a todo list and calendar, preferably webdav (but no must). what can you guys recommend?

I liked using KanBoard. Its simple and runs well inside a docker container.

Which platform? Desktop or mobile ? For android, there's "jtx board" which works for me pretty well.

[–] GravitySpoiled@lemmy.ml 1 points 3 months ago

jtxboard is incredibly powerful, thank you!

Wow. I use jtx board and never tried the Kanban view ... man, I didn't even know it did that! Thanks!

Can I hijack this thread to ask if any of these recommendations have iOS apps? Vikunja looks the most enticing to me but seems they don’t have an iOS app sadly.

Cryptpad has a very capable Kanban in it. No mobile apps yet, but I understand that is on the road map.

I use planka, which feels exactly like what trello used to feel: fast & simple. It does not have an app though.

I used this for a project once and its great. Super powerful and has a great API for automation https://kanboard.org/

Ugly af, but it's really good, I use it for organizing my ideas and tasks, and it's perfect for what I need.

There are some relatively nice custom themes.

If you have NextCloud, you can try Deck. I moved off from NextCloud and Deck was, oddly enough, one of the harder apps to replace. I ended up with Vikunja. They have an android app in alpha but it feels pretty polished

Nextcloud deck, with the mobile app

Leantime for sure! Because it is very feature complete for project management

[–] brownmustardminion@lemmy.ml 1 points 3 months ago

Do you mean leantime.io?

We've been internally using the stock Forgejo (Gitea) one for about a year now, previous Nexcloud Deck, but it was a bit too buggy, and we didn't really need NC in the first place anyways.

[–] recapitated@lemmy.world 1 points 3 months ago

NC deck could be cool but I found it really disappointing.
