What's wrong with the adv Caro Kahn? I play D4 and hyper accelerated dragon so I haven't played this from either side

Does this count as the advanced variation without your d pawn on d5? I'm still new at the Caro

Afaik the part that makes this Caro Kahn is c6 and what makes it advanced is E5.

I could be wrong, I never play this, like I said , with either color

Iirc that somewhat common. I always play D5 against this.

Took me minute to see that they couldn’t just en passant again. And you swoop up that pawn later anyway.
