Nintendo making downstream worse now... I hope they get slapped in there lawsuit for the waste of time they put all these people in

Guess you didn't see the news. The lawsuit is over. Nintendo won. They settled for a payment of 2.5 or so million dollars and have to delete Yuzu and its source code.

Damn I hadn't. That's such bs. I don't blame Yuzu team for avoiding the heat, but still a shame that it came to that.

The good news with this settlement is that we've avoided an actual legal ruling against emulation. There was a real chance of Nintendo winning in court (largely because Yuzu devs were making money), and a legal precedent against emulators could have wiped out a lot of other emulators as well.

Ew. It looks like the patch notes are gone, but if they actually pull citra and yuzu from retrodeck then I'll probably switch to emudeck.

Edit: this was a bit knee-jerky; I understand removing yuzu since it was still very much in-dev, but citra? At least make sure people have the ability to drag-and-drop citra into retrodeck and have it work.

Everyone is removing Yuzu & Citra as they are both made by the same company, shared code and team thus affected by lawsuit.

EmuDeck is also removing both as far as we understand.

ES-DE might also remove support for it, so it can not just find the files.

We are looking into alternatives, I will look into why the link above broke.
