So what are they going to do, not vote Biden and vote for the definite racist Trump, who is promising mass deportations and who's supporters are pushing to end democracy? Like let's f'n be for real here.

What are they visiting at the border anyway? Is there anything worth mentioning or even slightly relevant there?
Over 70% of the country is deluded into thinking there's a crisis at the border.
Unfortunately, it's very PR relevant.
Hyperreality:
Because the (social-)media simulation of reality is more influential (on voters, society, politics) than actual reality, in practice the simulation is often more 'real' than reality. If crime rises, it only matters if the simulation of reality convinces enough people that crime is rising. In fact, crime is falling across much of the western world, but most people think the opposite thanks to media, so the false reality has more influence on politics than actual reality.
I think Biden is just fucking with Trump on this one and trying to steal some undecided vote.
I seriously doubt he's going to follow through on it.
I mean Biden literally laid a trap for Trump and the MAGAs with his statement on the border, and they fell right in it by axing the bipartisan resolution they almost passed, but of course Trump opened his fat yap and the MAGA idiots did his bidding as usual.
