This season the London Lions (14-2) have been nearly unbeatable, but over the past five games, the team is just 3-2 overall. Now London looks to bounce back after just its second loss of the season against the Leicester Riders (7-7) today. Leicester is 2-3 in its last five games, losing three by an average of just 6.6 points per game. One of those losses came to London three weeks ago. In that win London had three players score 20+ points in Donte Grantham (22 points and 11 rebounds), Matthew Morgan (21 points) and Gabriel Olaseni (20 points) did just enough to outlast Leicester.

In the 102-95 loss Leicester ended the game with five players in double-figures scoring. Jaren Holmes (18 points and eight assists) led the way with Kimbal Mackenzie (17 points), Caleb Asberry (16 points), Miryne Thomas (14 points) and Braelen Bridges (12 points) also contributing.

Before this stretch of five games for London the team was 11-0 to start the season. Even with these recent losses, London is still in first place with 28 points eight more than the next-best team in the standings. They are also 3.5 games ahead of them in the win/loss standings.

For Leicester, it is just .500 and in the middle of the standings. They bounced back after a three-game losing streak in their last game and played London tough last time. All of that sets up what could be the most important game of the season for both teams.
