Former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) bashed former President Trump online and said Christians who support him “don’t understand” their religion.

“I’m going to go out on a NOT limb here: this man is not a Christian,” Kinzinger said on X, formerly known as Twitter, responding to Trump’s Christmas post. “If you are a Christian who supports him you don’t understand your own religion.”

Kinzinger, one of Trump’s fiercest critics in the GOP, said in his post that “Trump is weak, meager, smelly, victim-ey, belly-achey, but he ain’t a Christian and he’s not ‘God’s man.’”

As a former christian I can confirm that the vast majority of christians in the multiple communities I grew up in have not read, reflected nor understood the teachings.

I read the bible in full, reflected on it, appreciated the views of morality and accepted that it was a work of fiction based on the actions of few people whose lives were greatly exaggerated for the purposes of controlling the people who refuse to read and reflect on the materials at hand.

At this point, it's like telling a hard core junkie that heroin will eventually kill them. For the MAGoos, death is preferable to admitting that Donnie is an idiot and a traitor.

It's really sad how evangelicals have let themselves be trapped and manipulated by Trump and the Republican Party.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

Former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) bashed former President Trump online and said Christians who support him “don’t understand” their religion.

Kinzinger has become isolated from most of the Republican Party after serving on the House select committee that investigated the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol.

“Merry Christmas to all, including Crooked Joe Biden’s ONLY HOPE, Deranged Jack Smith, the out of control Lunatic who just hired outside attorneys, fresh from the SWAMP (unprecedented!

Trump has repeatedly gone after Smith, who is prosecuting him over his actions related to the 2020 election and the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol.

“Included also are World Leaders, both good and bad, but none of which are as evil and ‘sick’ as the THUGS we have inside our Country who, with their Open Borders, INFLATION, Afghanistan Surrender, Green New Scam, High Taxes, No Energy Independence, Woke Military, Russia/Ukraine, Israel/Iran, All Electric Car Lunacy, and so much more, are looking to destroy our once great USA.

He has a 52.4 percent lead based on an aggregation of more than 300 polls, according to The Hill’s partner Decision Desk HQ.

The original article contains 381 words, the summary contains 186 words. Saved 51%. I'm a bot and I'm open source!
