Activism , repair and tech focused
That’s a tough one. I think it’s a pretty unique blend. Most repair focused channels only do repair. Most tech focused channels only do tech.
The issue with YouTube is that there are so many creators out there and they’re all competing for attention. Making a very narrowly targeted, high quality channel is much easier than a variety channel. Variety channels depend so heavily on the personality of their host.
He covers a pretty broad range of things as @chonglibloodsport@lemmy.world said.
Might be able to point you in the right direction if you share some of the topics/videos of his that you're interested in seeing more of
Hugh Jeffreys and Rick's tech repairs
Both are repair / refurbish focussed, but occasionally comments on relvant news.
The only two creators on YouTube I can think of is Hugh Jeffreys and FUTO.
For some context FUTO is the non profit of Eron Wolf who is the person who donated a million dollars to Louis's charity and runs a non profit using his billion dollars from the sale of WhatsApp (who he was part owner of) to give software devs grants to make software that works to bring the power in technology away from a handful of companies and back to the people.
Also, I'd suggest joining the official Matrix space Louis has and asking there. Matrix is similar to discord but open source and better for privacy by default.
