I always read emoticons in the wrong way, dammit

[–] toothbrush@lemmy.blahaj.zone 4 points 11 months ago

I don't think this is a place which cares

Wamp wamp wamp. Lemmy and mastodon are never down

[–] CaptainBasculin@lemmy.ml 7 points 11 months ago (2 children)

Some servers do get down; but not the entire fediverse.

[–] shortwavesurfer@monero.town 3 points 11 months ago

Right, any particular server may be down, but the fediverse as a whole cant go down

Some servers do get down

Some servers just got more funk than others.

Here is an alternative Piped link(s):

https://www.piped.video/watch?v=81wKSt0tkNs

Piped is a privacy-respecting open-source alternative frontend to YouTube.

I'm open-source; check me out at GitHub.

To bad it doesn’t stay that way

[–] amio@kbin.social 7 points 11 months ago

Bad news: it's up again :(

[–] silentdon@lemmy.world 4 points 11 months ago

I'm on there so seldom that I didn't notice

[–] Aatube@kbin.social 4 points 11 months ago

I wish everyone would abandon reddit because of the terrible treatment it showed its users and contributors, some of whom should be considered amongst its builders.

But news alone of a web site having an outage isn't really a technological discussion any more than news about a traffic jam would be.

[–] SmoothSurfer@lemm.ee 1 points 11 months ago

Its working for me

[–] Poggervania@kbin.social 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Now we can watch reddit refugees pretend to not care while caring enough to comment :)

[–] Pons_Aelius@kbin.social 4 points 11 months ago (1 children)

And also read the meta comments who are dunking on the I don't care crowd...but still opened the thread hoping to see them.

Etc

etc

etc

TLDR: It's meta all the way down.
