While I don't have access to the Fairphone (not in the US market), it's discouraging seeing how difficult it is for them to provide this sort of support. It also indicates that our society's values are still poorly placed when it's an uphill battle for a company to stand behind its products for an extended period of time.

Personally I have a Pixel 5, which goes EOL at October of this year after just three years. However, the current Pixel phones have a much better six years. Google took a different approach that only is available to a big player: they designed their own processor. I will likely go with another Pixel, since they have so far been good phones. But yeah, still not a great showing when I would like to keep my phone for a good decade.

N900 still getting updates via maemo-leste.

Too bad the cell service isn't going to work for much longer, at least in the US.
