Broadly speaking, Kyiv’s highly anticipated counter-offensive has gathered much-needed momentum in recent weeks, with hard-fought gains around the strategically important village of Robotyne. If this falls, the road to the Azov sea will be in sight.

It fell.

From the ISW today:

A Ukrainian source indicated that RU forces have laterally redeployed elements of a relatively elite formation from eastern #Ukraine to the #Robotyne area, potentially supporting ISW’s assessment that Russian forces lack sizeable operational reserves.

Simply having a huge number of living bodies to order around doesn't mean you can actually make soldiers out of them. You need equipment for them, you need time to train them, you need people with skills to do the training, you need the ability to physically move them into position. Russia is running out of those things faster than they're running out of living bodies.

OP is spot on! I’m sure Putin will be able to see Ukraines victory from whatever hole he’s hiding in.

It's behind the paywall, but how does he see the Russian army marching into Kyiv now?

Doubtful. I foresee this war lasting a very long time.
