10 months without moderation and it looks that clean?! Not a single pair of anime titties and no link to a prescription free online pharmacy? Lemmy never ceases to amaze me...

Keep in mind, for the target community, the most strident arguments tend to be fights over licenses or which shade of black make the best socks.

Yeah, half of those entries is me stepping in as an admin to ban/remove users breaking instance wide rules, which supersedes community specific moderation. In fact, all of those entries are either admins or automod stepping in.

for us admins we generally tend to let the community mods handle their community's reports

and for communities that are either:

  • not on our instance or
  • is on our instance but has no current active mods,

then we'll take over for moderating those communities till we find people who want to try becoming moderators🤗
