UK must be absolutely livid over this.
I think it's a race between UK and Germany in a race to an economic collapse. If Germany goes then EU crash will inevitably follow.
I expect that the whole neoliberal order that US created in Europe implode is going to implode at this point. The kind of an economic crash that Europe is now entering hasn't been seen since the end of WW2. Younger generations in Europe can't comprehend what's happening because it's completely outside their lived experience.
