Leave them on. The skin will pretty much fall off after cooking and it holds a lot of flavour, like the fat on a steak.
Personally I leave the skin (with scales) on, best bit of the fillet.
Morrisons still have their counter so you can always ask the fishmonger to descale the salmon.
I eat the skin, just not the scales. But it does annoy me having to spend time descaling each time
