There seems to be a considerable contingent of this subreddit (and related subreddits) who are attending the Sol Conference which takes place from November 22 - November 23rd 2024 in San Francisco. As a result I have created a resource - r/solfoundation to help coordinate meetups, help talk about expectations, facilitate communications and networking as well as discussion about events. Even if you are not attending the event there is the possibility we - the collective members of r/UFOS , who are attending can help ask the important questions on behalf of those who cannot attend. Though I have created the r/solfoundation subreddit it is important to note that I am unaffiliated with this foundation. The Sol Foundation has indicated that they will also offer a streaming option for those who cannot attend. I will post about that when it is available. Some of us are also going to the extra events such as the VIP dinner or the special evening event for extended opportunities to speak with the various people involved with Sol or the speakers.

If you are not familiar with the Sol Foundation this is their official website. Last year's conference speaker talks have been published on their official YouTube channel here.

A main idea in this post is the power of this and other related subreddits here. We have millions of people who are interested in this subject and this is the only MODERATED space in the world that allows the free exchange of ideas. As such I'm proposing that anyone attending show the power of reddit by wearing a RED DOT sticker (get it REDDOT? lol I'm a genius!) to show the power of this platform at the event. This ensures a way for us to instantly recognize another redditor without having to dox ourselves or others. We do not have to share our user names when we see each other but can recognize another person from reddit by the wearing of the Red Dot. I will have extras on me when there so I also encourage those of us who are spending the <$5 to purchase some red dots to bring the extra with them so if anyone does not have one and they inquire about it they to can have the Red Dot networking experience.

This year's conference will feature the following speakers:

Organized by Sol’s board of directors, Dr. Garry NolanDr. Peter Skafish, and Jonathan Berte, the symposium features them as speakers as well as other prominent and new UAP voices, including:

Recently, someone posted about this sighting and made myself and many others intensely curious.

Here's the original video:

Enjoy Reddit's compression!

Initially, I thought it might be a kite, due to the long tail. u/Future-Bandicoot-823 thought the tail looked more like video artifacting, because it was just too perfect. While I was out for the day, I couldn't look at the video with any detail, and by the time I got home, the post was gone, but in the meantime someone found a high-quality version of the video from this X account.

Here's a zoomed and stabilized version of the UAP:

Zoomed in 800%

Pretty clearly, u/Future-Bandicoot-823 was right and I was wrong. You can see on this zoomed in version that the tail is an "echo" of previous frames - it even disappears when the video glitches and freezes for five frames, then has a "jump" in it after the video resumes.

u/jarlrmai2 thought the entire motion may be caused by an effect of the camera - the parallax of camera motion being stabilized and therefore creating motion for things in the deep background. I was curious if that could be true, so I motion tracked some branches and did a rough recreation of parallax.

In the below video, the yellow and red arms are showing the parallax offset between two different branches, and the green arms are showing the offset between a branch and the UAP.

UAP movement doesn't match parallax

While the yellow and red arms move somewhat in sync, the green arm does not, so the thing appears to be actually moving.

So what is it? A strange white orb, moving somewhat erratically. A lot of people thought it looked like a bug, reflecting the sun, just like this spiderweb does in the video. Especially at the end of the clip, you can see the light running along the strands of the web, glinting reflections of the sun.

Light glinting off the web.

Without the tail, the only interesting observable about the UAP itself is the erratic movement. A bug certainly could explain that.

Thoughts? Something I've missed?

Any questions about my analysis, feel free to ask. And below is an imgur link to my videos (may not work in the future)

I recently launched a new website and free mobile app that tracks Google searches for “I saw a UAP / UFO,” “report a UAP / UFO sighting,” and plots those searches to a heat-map of the US in real-time.

I posted about this UAP sighting tracker a few months ago, and you all had some great feedback. I incorporated a lot of this feedback into this next iteration of the UAP sighting tracker, a big update, which I’m very happy to share.

UAP sighting tracker is now called “Above Us".

Website:

Mobile App:

(coming to Android soon)

*the best experience is via the mobile app. The next best experience is using the website on mobile. The website on desktop is currently a bit slow (working on it!)

Some of your feedback that’s been incorporated:

Overlay of nuclear sites

Overlay of military sites

Incorporate a slider function with date (so sightings change as the slider is moved, or “plays”)

Push notifications of sightings based on user location

Better mobile experience / mobile app

Some other new features:

Sightings data changes depending on sightings in view

24 hour / 7 day / 30 day / 60 day / year toggle

Time of sighting data

—

(*the reason this is US only, is I pay Google for every ad click that drives the data. Each expanded territory beyond US costs ~$500 per month)

(whether someone clicks an ad or not, the data still populates. It populates upon the impression (search being conducted, NOT the ad click))

I get this data by running Google Ads for the searches “I saw a UAP/UFO / report a UAP/UFO”. I pay for each ad click.

Some functions that are still in the works (quite a heavy lift):

Normalize data to population

Expand beyond the US (costs to run this in the US run about $500 per month. Worldwide would run four figures per month).

—

This method of tracking UAP/UFO sightings is unmatched in terms of speed, volume, and privacy (Above Us doesn’t rely on sighting reports, which are often slow, and discrepant with actual sightings).

This site and app is meant for those interested in tracking the movements of UAPs, but I hope anyone can get something out of it!

About me: I’ve been a Google search engine marketer for 15 years. My experiments with Google Ads have been featured in New York Times, Wired, NPR, Reuters, Mashable, and BBC.

After reading a ton of UFO books, listening to pods, watching docos and reading potentially real 4chan leaks I keep coming to the below conclusion.

Extra terrestrial species uses drones to scout the galaxy. Once a planet is identified that has life they send a large ship to the planet.

This ship chooses a location that is unlikely to be located, like the deepest part of the ocean.

The ship becomes an outpost/construction facility which creates biological drones and mechanical craft that are custom built for their mission.

The craft and crew could be tasked to scan biological life, monitor military and weapons capabilities, track population and culture etc etc.

This information is sent back to their home world where they gather intelligence from all the planets they are monitoring.

Do most of us feel this is the current most popular theory or na?

Apparent assassination attempt by a rogue individual with a “Manifesto” targeting Rep. Moskowitz days before the UAP hearing.

Congressman Burchett also launched the bipartisan UAP Caucus in the House of Representatives, which he co-chairs alongside Congressman Jared Moskowitz (FL-23). Some members of the UAP Caucus sent a letter to the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community asking for follow-up information regarding David Grusch’s testimony in the recent hearing on UAPs.

The hearing is scheduled for November 14th.

So in the latest weaponised episode, commander David fravor references a scif involving multiple phds and mentions a character who works in aerospace and has a lot of patents. It immediately drew my mind to Tim Taylor AKA Tyler durden from Diana pasulkas books. The same person who took Gary Nolan and pasulka to the crash site in New Mexico to recover parts. It’s interesting seeing things like this all lining up, only if you’re willing to invest significant amounts of time to understand the whole story.

Hey there

I'm not an UFO guy and I don't particularly believe aliens are visiting Earth, but I thought you people might find this interesting.

Operação Prato was maybe the largest mass sighting in Brazil. During the '70s lots of people in the countryside of Pará state reported lights that followed them and attacked them, leaving marks on their skin. Some people were hospitalized and a woman even had a miscarriage after an attack - and her dog supposedly died trying to protect her. The victims often claimed that those lights were after their blood.

The airforce have sent a few people to this area, and their primary task was to tranquilize the population. I don't know if they ever found anything, as the episodes of this podcast are still being released.

Mind you, the place where all of this happened is in the middle of the Amazon jungle and it wasn't hugely populated. While some people claim this was all done by aliens, others believe the lights were caused by a foreign country (most likely the US) testing Brazil's readiness or their own aircrafts, while the feeling of being attacked was caused by mental distress.

Eighter way, the people responsible for this podcast have gone to that isolated area and talked with people who are still alive and who have experienced it. The podcast is obviously in Portuguese, but I share this hoping that someone knows a way (maybe an app? I don't know) to translate it or maybe generate automatic subtitles in English for those who don't speak the language.

I hope those of you who are able to listen to it can enjoy it! I know I'm liking it even though I'm a skeptic. ;)

Found on X, the reconstuction video was made by Fin365:

The youtube video is 2 hours long, but the reconstruction is in the first few minutes.

Here are some quotes from what the witness experienced (beginning timestamp 40:43)

Witness emotions were changed by the entity:

I freaked out when I stood up, and I was about to yell, and in a flip second I went from freaked out to calm. I was perfectly calm, like in a snap, in an instant. I was calm, and when that happened this being made two or three steps forward, came a little bit closer. I looked at it into into its head, trying to figure out where he has eyes and stuff like that. And I couldn't see any features on it, it was just like a black, you know, outlines of a child person.

Witness describes telepathy in some more detail:

When I stood up I was about to yell, you know "who are you" and that kind of stuff. But I couldn't speak, so whatever what I was trying to speak it was in my head. And that's weird because in your everyday life you can distinguish your thoughts from your voice. But when this happened it was as if the voice I hear, you know like the voice you hear yourself when you actually speak through your mouth, was actually in my head, which is weird because, you can tell your thoughts are different kind of than your voice. When I'm thinking about stuff I don't hear my voice in my head, I just have thoughts. I don't actually hear a noise. I could basically hear myself talking but it wasn't coming out of my mouth. And that was strange that was like I've never experienced that before.

So when we made you know head head-to-head contact... I'm not going to say eye to eye contact because I couldn't see its eyes, yeah then it started speaking. It said to me: "don't be afraid", "time's not what you think it is", "you will be okay". And when he said don't be afraid I was about to say something, but it overlaid that voice. So it was also weird because the voice sounded like my voice, but yet my voice was overlaying that voice, right, so that was very weird. But anyway I stopped in a second and I let it say whatever it was going to say. And that's what it said.

Some other stuff that happens to him

Poltergeist like activity, footsteps around his room at night, flashbacks, strange memories, etc.

A classic example of a UFO sighting with high strangeness effects

I think this is a good example of how high strangeness or "woo" stuff often happens to witnesses who see UFOs. Its especially nice that that Fin365 guy made a reconstruction about it, and in the interview he really goes into the different parts of it in detail.

Time travel?

So from what the witness describes that the entity says, it seems like some kind of time travel is involved.
