Original Title: Newsnation Reporter Rich McHugh gets the best footage of the NJ "drones" yet. Says he was skeptical at first but this has completely rewired his brain on this topic. A couple weird things here. A seemingly convincing video is posted. It gets a lot of traction. Then an airtight debunk is posted. Now, normally, this is the subreddit operating as intended. This is what we want.

The "off" part is how the debunkers always use the phrase "I want to believe" and how the comment sections are flooded with arguments and ridicule. Dismissive mocking about belief in aliens or little green men. Claims of mass hysteria as if nothing is happening.

Planes and balloons have always been the most common misidentified objects on this sub, but lately, a lot of obvous bait videos from odd accounts are getting posted. Then in comes the friendly skeptic with the X-files quote. As if they can't help the urge to sneak in a subtle insult your intelligence. It's kinda funny in a way.

It seems like the objective is to convince the wider world that there is no story here. Kill it before it spreads. The media is even using stock drone footage and bokeh orbs like they don't have professional camera operators.

Clearly something is happening. The entire state authorites, governors, and citizenry (aka the people ACTUALLY witnessing the events) are not all mistaken. There are objects in other countries and states being seen by pilots and trained professionals. We've had multiple hearings with sworn testimony in Congress, seen AARO and DoD caught in obvious lies, yet still, so many accounts completely in disbelief.

Don't let intimidation tactics prevent you from posting the things you see if you want some extra eyes to help you identify something. UFOs have always been the most ridiculed topic in American history and I feel like there is significant effort to get us to disengage. Honestly, thank you to all who put themselves out there and post with genuine intent.

It doesn't matter what you believe. Stay skeptical. (you ARE on the internet) Be friendly. Keep an open mind. Don't be afraid.

And don't burn yourself out arguing with bad faith weirdos.

• I obtained established and well documented video of stars intentionally filmed "out of focus", which creates what is commonly referred to as the "Bokeh" effect.
• I obtained the recently posted New Jersey live news footage that was strongly upvoted by the r/UFO community.
• I placed the two video samples side by side so that we could compare and contrast the resulting video to determine if the live news footage is reliable evidence of a UAP, UAS, drone, etc - or simply a tantalizing aftereffect of the subject being out of focus.

I'd love to get your honest thoughts and opinions - check your biases at the door before watching the video! Let's use some old fashioned scientific review and come to a concensus. Oh, and let's remember not to take ourselves to seriously 24x7!

You have been figuring out every sighting, every rumor, every video, every picture....you have been making people feel safe.

There's been a lot of hysteria involving this whole NJ Drone shit,a lot of arguing,anger, frustration....it's a lot.

But I come on this sub and it helps makes some semblance of sense about it. Breaking down the videos, the pictures, the rumors, whatever it is, makes it way less scary.

In the report, the reporter also mentions that the sheriff's department drone was tracking a drone and it "disappeared out of thin air". They also said there are no heat signatures on these. What the heck is going on? This is nuts. An officer reported 50 drones coming from the ocean..

This is definitely sounding more like NHI than any conventional drone. So far, we know:

1. These things can fly for 6-7 hours nonstop. No known drone can do that.
2. They have lights on. These could easily be disabled, which means whoever is operating these things wants us to know they’re there and that we can’t catch them.
3. No heat signature unlike any other drone. Consistent with NHI UFO.
4. Disappear when approached seemingly into thin air. Again, consistent with NHI.
5. Coming off the ocean, consistent with NHI mothership in ocean.
6. DoD says they aren’t US military.
7. DoD says they aren’t at all attributable to any foreign nation, despite one person saying they were Iranian.
8. They are way too big, would be insanely expensive for any private person to be pulling this stunt, let alone the power requirements and legal repercussions.
9. Ross Coulthart said he has been told by his sources that we have tried using our anti-drone tech and it has had zero effect.
10. NJ Police say they cannot find a frequency that these things are operating on, which has never happened before.

At this point, everyone should be HIGHLY suspecting that these could be NHI. No other scenario fits. What human in their right mind would WANT to be seen night after night if this is truly some spy mission? And a prankster does not typically have millions of dollars to throw down with the threat of prison if he’s caught. It doesn’t add up.

As an aside, I think if any of these do go down, CIA will be the one to recover it before anyone else. Be very aware of twists in this story or any explanations given. The USG is bound to lie again about this. Study how they do it.

Greetings from the UFOs moderators! This thread is being written due to footage that depicts a drone being fired upon. Please be aware that such action is not just illegal, it is unsafe. In most countries, firing on aircraft is a felony. The bullets that go into the air always come down. These have been known to kill people. Absolutely do not shoot at any aircraft, no matter what or where that aircraft may be.

In addition, we have seen videos depicting lasers being shined at aircraft. This is another felony and can blind pilots and damage sensors. Absolutely do not do this.

To keep this short and sweet; posts showing shootings at any type of aircraft are posts that are showing extremely dangerous actions that should not be reproduced under any circumstances.

It may feel moot, but the moderators of the subreddit would like to condemn any action taken that reflects the actions that have been talked about in this post.

Be aware that the waters are being muddied. We are seeing some obvious plane videos, and I won't be surprised if we see a "drone" recovered with a "oh it's just a test drone nobody reported - see nothing dangerous.
