I've seen a big rise in posts recently about 'drones' that are clearly blurred pictures of airplanes at night and have widely dismissed them as trolls. But last night was the first time in my career that I got lased. Luckily the angle was such that it didn't damage our eyes at all. We were carrying over 100 people, that could have been your family onboard. People's lives are at stake. Trolls, your posts are dangerous. Stop. Everyone else, stop feeding the trolls.

You are starting to see it now with the discrediting and skepticism. Discrediting and analyzing are good yes, in some capacity. But if it were to be revealed to the public that a highly intelligent alien species does exist and is visiting our planet, that would be completely disruptive to the system. Not only that, but it would put that species far and above the ruling class in terms of intelligence and technology.

We have been taught all of our lives to believe that the richest people are the smartest, the most capable, and that it is a meritocracy. They are ruling over us because they are the best. Were the existence of such a species to be revealed, that would peg the ruling class below that species. For the first time, some living beings would openly be above our ruling class in terms of the hierarchical scale. This is humiliating for them because they are narcissists and always want to be seen as the top dog.

Not only that, but the disruption would be a profound shift in our consciousness in terms of what is possible. I do not want to get too far ahead of myself, but let’s just say that things are pretty much perfect for the top 0.1% of the world right now. They are getting richer, more powerful, and more ambitious. They do not want a massive disruption that raises our consciousness and understanding of the universe.

Lately, a narrative of "believers" vs "debunkers" is being spread in this subreddit. Posts in New are being downvoted to 0. Unnecessary rude bait posts and comments are spread all over. The terminology is being shifted from UAP to Drones. The drones are being attacked as planes and bokeh effect orbs are replacing the weird ones.

You know what this means. Tim told you.

We're over the target.

They want you to believe nothing is here because the powers that be cannot give a logical response. You know there's more to this. They want to pigeonhole you into a position to blow it up and discredit you.

Be like water. Adapt to whatever comes our way. Let them speak. Be friendly, but hold what you believe and don't get pulled from your character. The fact they are here shows we're making progress.

It's not "Believers" vs "Debunkers" it's those that seek the truth and those that wish to deny it.

Stay strong. Keep posting. Keep looking up.

I listen to NPR constantly, and they just did a segment on hobbyist drones. They interviewed some drone company owner, and talked about what to do when you purchase one. They opened the segment with a statement that the white house says these are regular hobbyist drones.

Supposed news reporters are failing to push hard, to ask questions, and to be skeptical of what the officials are telling them. They are failing to take into account the contradicting statements of local officials and other qualified personnel about what they are seeing.

The rest of the news stories were about other things, which are important and relevant, but not compared to this.

Disclosure is never going to happen this way. I'm livid about the failings of supposed journalists to do their job.

Most of us just want something extraordinary to happen because our lives are way too ordinary.

We just want something non-human to come and save us from bills to pay, loans, debts, poverty, depression and save us from a system that is corrupted and treats us like slaves, like numbers only worth a price tag.

We want to access a higher meaning of life, we want all to be truly connected to one another and not with stupid social media, that only feeds us advertisements, so that people in power can make more money exploiting our now rotten brains.

We want to be saved by an entity that isn't human, because humans are greedy, once they have a sniff of power, they want more. We're animals.

We want to be saved because we are exploited every day and violated by our own race, the human race.

UAPs represent the saviors, something that transcends space and time. We know, deep down, that there is more, we want to believe.

And that's why we are acting so emotional here, believing that planes are orbs that transform into drones and drones are UFOs acting as drones.

We're just stuck in a cage, and that's why we want these sightings to be aliens, we want it so badly. So they can free us from our pain, because human beings won't free themselves from their chains on their own.

We just want to be saved.

Original Title: A mistaken image got debunked within an hour with a post that is twice as popular and people still complain that this sub is full of misinformation. This is a normal process here. Welcome to the club.

Hello there. Fake and/or misleading images sometimes get popular on this sub, then they get debunked. It's a normal process here. That doesn't change when the sub blows up. And it's not necessarily nefarious, sometimes people fall for fake stuff until it's pointed out. Welcome to r/ufos.

Instead of complaining about it, subscribe to the sub and become part of the process. If you see something obviously fake call it out.

Meantime please stop gaslighting people that they are being "hysterical" and imagining things when our military bases all over country and outside the country are having confirmed "drone" incursions and in some cases are literally being shut down:
