Be honest, would you prefer an android slave that was programmed by a paragon of virtue, or one that was programmed by that unprincipled, evil-minded, lecherous kulak Harry Mudd?

We don't actually know what the robots were like before Mudd found them. They might have been even more debauched.
Maybe this Mudd fellow is just misunderstood!
His glorious mustache is misunderstood. They wouldn't let him have it on Discovery.
Paragon of virtue. A paragon of virtue would necessarily be gay accepting and have a decent grasp of what's good in gay sex, while Harry Mudd is a very heterosexual man and would be bad at programming a gay sexbot. Mudd's sexbots would probably misgender me because they're programmed for men.
