Excellent choice!

I've enjoyed the whole series up to this point but the original is my favorite. Such a unique setting with a creepy atmosphere and fun gameplay. Cant wait to see what Ken and his team have for us next!

I haven't got a chance to play either yet but I hope the rumors of Soul Reaver Remastered are true. I would love to try it out

I'll start with a (slightly) controversial pick in the PlayStation community.

MediEvil Resurrection.

When I was a kid, I was surprised with a PSP for my birthday. I had wanted one to play the new ratchet and clank that was announced at the time. Little did I know that the game my parents bundled in for me would go on to be one of my favorites on the system. I had never heard of the series before so I didnt have any complaints about Resurrection like old time fans did.

After playing and loving the Original's Remaster on PS4 im excited to see if Resurrection holds up now that its playable on PS4/5.

With the crisp fall air flowing and October 1st coming up this weekend I think it is safe to say Halloween season is upon us.

What are some of your favorite games to play this time of year? They don't need to be Halloween or even Horror themed, just games that you find yourself going back to or thinking about when you hear Halloween.

(This is one of my favorite times of the year so I'll be adding comments as the nostalgia waves hit me over the next few days)

For Ps2 you easily need to try out the Holy Trinity of platformers

Ratchet & Clank 1-4

Jak and Daxter 1-X

Sly Cooper 1-3

All great for different reasons and surprisingly good stories for platformers with Sly being the deepest.

Thanks CSD! Im glad gaming is still a bright light. 3/Blood Dragon is still my favorite but im really liking 5. I think it passed out 4 aready and I havent even finished it yet lol.

Have you played any of New Dawn? It looks like an interesting concept.

Im in a weird funk right now and its spread into my gaming.

I completed the main story of Control but am taking a quick break before doing the dlc.

Saw Far Cry 5 is being removed from ps+ extra so i've jumped into that for some mindless action. Mostly skipping all the side dialogue but the main story is pretty interesting. Not too many games deal with religion so im always interested in how each one handles it.

At the moment i'm on track to get an easy plat, at least as long as I can find a coop partner for a few trophies.

I've had a fossil watch for the past 5 years or so and love it. Its a hybrid model so it runs off of a watch batter that needs to be replaced ever 9-12 months so I dont ever need to worry about charging it.

It also looks like a standard watch so nobody ever suspects it has some smart functionality. Its very barebones in that aspect but I can see whos calling/texting me, set vibration alarms, and control my music.

I also enjoy that its swappable so if you want the Spider-Man look you can go all out and if you want to go back to the default white it only takes a few minutes of moving plastic. Wish they took advantage of this more and had plates for most first party releases.

I like that for this one they're also offering just the faceplates. Im sure its going to be overpriced for plastic but its nice that you don't need to buy a new console to get the look.

I've played a little bit of this off of Gamepass at a buddies house and it feels like asking $60 for it is too steep.

The gameplay is repetitive but fun. The maps are ok but there are too few. Teleporting dinosaurs that come out of storms is as over the top wacky as it sounds and it works.

With only have 1 mode (with a pvp or a pve finale option) it feels like it should have been launched later with more modes or for a cheaper price if they hope for this game to have legs.

Still I enjoyed my time with it and if it ever drops to $30 or joins ps+ I might pick it up again.

I dont think anything has been announced yet. The first one had ps3/4/vita crossplay so since ps5/pc crossplay is much more of a standard right now I would guess that it will be
