Rules:

Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

I have been telling people to watch the Family on Netflix and this is why. Fuck these weirdo psychopaths. They are religious wackos. The world doesn’t need that obviously fake bullshit. And we definitely don’t need people with those brain worms leading or OWNING anything.
Not to mention they will co-opt anyone to get their weird fake second coming delusion show going. Black, white, asian, gay, trans. They pay well, but your soul will hurt every time you see your reflection.

Religion gets a special seat at every table.
In basically every facet of every thing, religion (by which I mean protestant christianity) has an automatic consideration and justification. They are always presumed to be correct, and their justification for this correctness is found within their religion, so it can't be questioned.
This is poison, and it keeps us stuck in the bronze age in terms of reasoning and thinking.
