It sounds like YouTube is heading towards conflict with it's long-term content providers as well. Their new algorithm heavily favors "shorts". This really screws over the traditional medium to long format creators who arguably made YouTube successful. Sounds like they want to move quickly into the TikTok space but it's sad for a lot of creators who are losing significant income d/t this change.

I really enjoyed Brave. I ignored the crypto currency stuff but took advantage of Brave Talk which is a nice alternative to zoom. I switched to Firefox recently b/c I hadn't used it as a browser for a while and wanted to check it out. I'm very happy with it and plan to stick with it for now.

Personally I see the variety of frameworks as a sign of health not fragility. Vue, eg., spurred React to become much better and less tedious to code. Svelte took nextjs which is commonly used for React and made an even better framework imo, while React keeps improving. You can even mix and match components. Personally I think JS is overall very healthy.
