"After it became known that the company was involved in forced prison labor, IKEA accepted our invitation to talk."

So from the sound of it IKEA didn't give two shits as long as no one knew, just like any other big company. You cannot tell me that people at IKEA simply didn't know, someone knew.

I have tried that one straight from fdroid and it hasn't worked for me unfortunately

Good to hear but it hasn't been updated yet as far as I can see.

Innertune stopped working for me a few days ago. I know they are working on a bugfix but so far alternatives like the fork of it from a user called Mal...something did not work for me either.

Yeah, not sure why OP is so damn condescending here. I just tried this app today because Innertune is currently having issues playing songs and this one works.

The interface is super confusing, tapping some buttons changes other buttons next to them without any apparent reason. No explanations what symbols mean. It took me a while to find where the "liked" songs end up. Then I later tried to find it again and just couldn't find it anymore.

This makes Section 31 sound like Oceans 11. Which would be fine if this were the first mention of Section 31 and what they are about. This is nothing like the Section 31 from DS9, maybe there is some kind of explanation for that, we'll see.

Can confirm.

Seeing the other weather app thread reminded me of something I have been looking for.

Is there a weather app that can display forecasts of several weather services at the same time?

Like the hourly overview but first service one, then service two and so on. Bonus points if you can add services or have a good selection of them.

Trying to get my child to go out and run a bit with me, worked ok so far but I know it might get boring at some point.

So I was looking for any kind of children friendly app that either counts distance or steps just for a run, so not at all times, and then gives some kind of reward for that. Like a dog growing up or whatever, something ok for kids. Zombie run comes up often but I don't think my child is into that, bit too scary maybe with the zombie theme.

Other apps I found are counting steps continously, or there are some elaborate minigames connected. I really don't want my little one to spend more time on a screen, so thats not great either. Like Pokemon Go, not into Pokemon yet anyway but its too much aside from the actual running/walking.

Anybody got a good suggestion that goes in that direction?

I know that if you want to get around geoblocking content, normally you just use a VPN from the location you need.

Now I am using a streaming app on Android from a tv program of my home country, they implemented geoblocking already long ago on their website but now the app is also going the same way. Much of the content is blocked now.

Is there an simple way I can have a VPN connection open just for this app on my phone? Or are there other ways to fool the app into thinking its in the right location?
