It appears that the XPS 13 will be the only dev edition according to everything I’m seeing from searching. Even Dell isn’t answering that question. However from what I have seen on forum posts, including one within the last 3 days the answer may be no, at least for now.

Actually yes, if we didn’t wear shoes all the time. The bottom of your feet will be more hardened from calluses where it meets the ground. Think about it this way, when we are kids we run around shoeless most of the time. For all intents and purposes, shoes have ruined our feet. Either by crushing them together, like women’s pointed shoes and men’s cowboy boots as an example, as well as allowing the soles of our feet to soften. As a kid I used to run up and down gravel roads and driveways barefoot without a care in the world, now the bottom of my feet can’t handle stepping on gravel without shoes.

Trust me, it’s not just satire.

I was in a homeless shelter about 7 years ago, unfortunately as a resident, and this dude I shared my room with was like 40 and would post on his Facebook profile that he was looking for a godly woman who doesn’t want to work and wants kids. His description of her was as follows:

Must be blonde, 5 foot to 5.5 foot tall, weigh no more than 110 lbs, must be religious to the only point of life was serving god and him. She must be no older than 25 and big boobs and perfect breeding hips.

This dude was 40, 300 lbs, 6ft tall. Took a shower once a week, worked at pilgrims chicken on the kill floor, and was so slow it took him 10 minutes to walk up a 100ft driveway from where the bus dropped him off. And yet he could never understand why No women wanted anything to do with him

I don’t think they would know what genocide really is if it bit them in the ass

Unfortunately I’m in Texas too. Can’t wait to get the hell outta here, probably close to a year and a half and we can leave, wife wants to wait til youngest is 18 and on his own.

Hope we live that long. Stay warm.

I’m surprised they didn’t back up their argument with the bs line of “ It’s not genocide, it’s ethnic cleansing.” Like there is a difference.

[–] Efwis@lemmy.zip 1 points 8 months ago

Ya know, the more I see of his bs the more I believe that the writers of the original Omen movies back in the 70’s were predicting this. In the movies Damien was the anti-Christ, I’m not religious btw, who ascended to power by private business and became a world leader.

Just made some home made chicken fried rice for me and the wife. Dunno about tomorrow yet, we haven’t decided between pork chops or chicken fried steak.

First year we have been alone for Christmas so we aren’t doing anything special. Didn’t even put up a tree

It appears that has been corrected. As of 0810 central daylight savings time U.S.

Or even better, any cheat mod. Mods are cool if they add to gameplay. But a real player doesn’t need any mods like aim assist, see through walls etc.

If you can’t play without a cheat mod, then you aren’t playing, you’re just being a dick.

To this day the government is still trying to create a lot of the tech from Star Trek. They are actively working on warp technology, replicators for food and clothes etc and Star Trek was the basis for a lot of today’s computers (i.e. no tubes like old tvs and computers before the invention of the desktop computer).

One time the government actually approached the producers and wanted to know how they got the doors to open and close automatically like they do. Genes answer “there’s two men holding onto broom sticks, one on each side, when the actor walked up to the doors they would pull the broomsticks and make a ‘whooshing’ sound as they opened and closed them “

Now we have that tech on 90% of retail shop doors. Star Trek was the basis for a lot of tech we use now.

Inn B love the app, been using it since the original beta came out on test flight.

My feature request is to either mark everything in the inbox as read, or have it automatically moved to the all section in the inbox automatically after reading and closing the inbox to go back to the main feed.

In the image below, none of these comments need replying to by me from my comment, but to clear them I have to login into Lemmy from my computer to mark them as such.

Before anyone asks why not use the phone browser, for some reason I can’t login to Lemmy on any of my phones mobile browsers. This has been brought to the attention of Lemmy devs via bug report.

Something I’ve been meaning to post about, it seems in the app you can’t click on !community@instance.name and be taken there.

For example !linuxscripts@lemmy.zip is not clickable in the app but it is clickable through a regular browser. Is there a way to add this functionality to Memmy?

Thanks

When I go to edit any post since the lates App Store update, it doesn’t take.

I notice this in my last comment I made, saw the typo for gdk went to fix it and it doesn’t fix it.

I was reading a post in another sub when I received and answer to a question I asked on lemmy support. When I replied it not only posted my response to my original post but it posted the same reply as a response in the other sun I was reading.

I am working on a script for the instance I’m on, but I need a testing server to run it. Is there a way to set up a lemmy instance as a testing server without internet access granted and no domain name?

memmy is saying i'm logged out, but there is now way to login back in that I can find. i don't want to uninstall and reinstall just to log back in any help appreciated

This started last night, but when I open my inbox it won’t clear out the notifications unless I reply from the inbox. I have a tendency to click on the message for me reply instead of replying from the inbox directly. Because of this the inbox doesn’t clear the notification.

I think it would be better for the app to clear notification once you access it instead of forcing you to reply to clear it. In the image below, I have replied to the message the way I tend to and it still hasn’t cleared the notification.

Will we be getting mod tools to help mod our communities we may be modding?

Such as editing or removing posts if needed, warning users by dm etc

my main account on lemmy is on lemmy.ml but to help lessen the load on that instance i decided to use this one as my main account. However, when i go and search for my subscribed communities that are on lemmy.ml they aren't found. Are we defederated from lemmy.ml or am I missing something?
