That platform is for the RACE/SPRINT WINNER!

Also winning a championship isn’t an achievement at all when you not only have a vastly faster car for most of the season but it was built by blatant cheating that they completely got away with.

Red Bull being on that grid is making the sport look more like an amateur league than the pinnacle of motorsport.

If you don’t like these facts then my advice would be to shut up and cry more.

Oscars car should be on that platform. Verstappen didn’t win.

More Verstappen bias as per usual.

This new community is primarily for keeping up to date with news about Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon. But instead of simply posting a link to an article on another website (anyone can do that) all the news content posted by the mods will be entirely readable on Lemmy.

Having a news centric community on Lemmy instead of a dedicated website has some major advantages.

Because there is no website to promote and drive traffic to there is no need for click bait headlines. Because there are no server fees there’s no reason to have ads or sponsored articles.

I’m not in it to make money. I’m here because I enjoy writing about games and talking about them with other like minded people. Lemmy allows me to do that without worrying about hosting fees, domain name fees and SEO.

Obviously the community is more than welcome and encouraged to post about anything related to any of the Forza games, ask for help and advice or just to talk.

Getting two kids 15 miles on a bike will be fun. So would getting a weeks shopping home on one.

People need cars. It’s a fact of life.

So what’s the solution for people like me that live 10 miles from the closest shop, 15 miles from the kids schools and 10 miles to the closest train station and we have no bus services that serve the village?

I knew I’d forgotten something. Thanks for pointing it out. I’ve added them to the bottom of the post.

It would be nice if it lasts that long but my 12 Pro Max was only 2 years old and the battery health was already down to 81%.

I usually upgrade every 3 models. Less than that and they don’t feel like new phones.

Just finished setting up my iPhone 15 Pro Max 256GB Natural Titanium.

I’ve never had an iPhone on release day before and hopefully this one will see a good 3+ years of service.

This is one way to finally get rid of Twitter. I wonder if Spez is considering charging for Reddit?

Best race for a VERY long time. Can Red Bull just sit the rest of them out?

[–] 47_alpha_tango@lemmy.zip 3 points 1 year ago

This is absolutely fantastic. Plus Max is under investigation for impeding twice.

Tomorrow could be spicy.

It the review I agree the most with. Starfield has done one thing very well. It’s got me to finally play No Man’s Sky and I’m loving it.

[–] 47_alpha_tango@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 year ago

It's a little known fact that if you look up "meh" in the dictionary there is a picture of Starfield.

Yes this isn’t the first Nintendo community on Lemmy but perhaps it is a unique one.

Allow me to explain.

The community is primarily for keeping up to date with news about Nintendo. But instead of simply posting a link to an article on another website (anyone can do that) all the news content posted by the mods will be entirely readable on Lemmy. Unless of course it’s a trailer or other type of video content. Then I’ll link to YouTube in the post.

Having a news centric community on Lemmy instead of a dedicated website has some major advantages.

Because there is no website to promote and drive traffic to there is no need for click bait headlines. Because there are no server fees there’s no reason to have ads or sponsored articles.

I’m not in it to make money. I’m here because I enjoy wring about the gaming industry and talking about it with other like minded people. Lemmy allows me to do that without worrying about hosting fees, domain name fees, SEO and all of that crap.

Obviously the community is more than welcome and encouraged to post about things they’ve accomplished in games or questions about Nintendo, ask for help and advice or just to talk.

So come and join the newest Nintendo community on Lemmy.

I also have communities for PlayStation and Xbox (links below) that follow the same format.

I figured on separate communities for each platform so people can subscribe to the communities that interest them.

I hope to see you on one or more of the gaming communities. ✌️

Yes I know there already are Xbox communities on Lemmy but hear me out.

Think of this new community as more of a news feed. It will have the latest Xbox news entirely readable on Lemmy with no links to read the article on external sites.

Because there is no website to try and drive traffic to there I’ll be no click bait and no ads or sponsored content.

Obviously the community is more than welcome to post content too about things they’ve accomplished in games or questions about Xbox or even help and advice.

So come and join the newest Xbox community on Lemmy.

If you dint yet have a subscription for Sky Sports you can NowTV’s sports pack for £32 per month including the HD boost.

If you don’t mind missing quali live today and sub tomorrow before the race it will renew the day after Abu Dhabi so you only have to pay for 3 months to watch the rest of the season and save money during the winter.

I’m at the start of my bi-annual Voyager rewatch and wanted to give a shout out to episode 14, Jetrel.

Watching Ethan Phillips absolutely nail his performance as he recounts the horrors of the war and aftermath of the Metreon Cascade are tough to watch but at the same time absolutely impossible to not be moved by his experiences.

If you haven’t seen Jetrel then please go and watch it. It isn’t just Voyager at its best but one of Star Treks best episodes.

Sadly there aren’t many episodes of Voyager that are this good.

The Galaxy Class starships were designed to be a multi-role vessel capable of carrying out scientific research, colony transport, diplomatic missions, long range exploration and defence roles.

The first Federation Starship to be fitted with a class five warp drive capable of sustained speeds of warp 9.2 with a maximum velocity of warp 9.6 for short periods.

The Galaxy Class project was intended to replace the Ambassador and Oberth class vessels and have an in-service life of 100 years.

A total of 10 Galaxy Class ships were constructed at Utopia Planitia shipyards with the third of its class christened the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D and would serve as Federation Flagship for the seven years it was in service.

The Galaxy Class played a pivotal role during the Dominion War of 2373 - 2375 especially during two Battles of Chintaka and during the final assault into the Cardassian System.

Despite having a 100 year service life very few examples survived into the 2400’s with the restored Enterprise D currently on display in the fleet museum at Athan Prime along with two previous Enterprise starships.

It was being heaving rumoured in the paddock during the Belgian GP that AlphaTauri could run Red Bull’s RB19 for the 2024 campaign.

Such a move, if true, would see a massive performance boost for the team with the current car, the AT04 being the slowest car in the grid.

Just taking the RB19 and painting it is AlphaTauri’s colours isn’t an option.

The FIA banned such practices in 2010 and the Listed Team Components on the car must be a teams own work and can’t just be copied from Red Bull. It’s why Racing Point’s Pink Mercedes turned so many heads in 2020.

Even if AlphaTauri do design the listed components by themselves which includes the survival cell, front impact structure, roll structures, brake ducts and bodywork they would still have a huge advantage over their closest rivals if they use the RB19 as base for the 2024 car.

If the rumours are true and the car is approved by the FIA it could catapult AlphaTauri to finishing consistently in the points in 2024.

Of all the kitbash ships I think this my favourite.

You have to wonder what the designer was smoking at Utopia Planitia when he came up with this.

I know, let’s take a crappy Maquis Raider and the state of the art Intrepid class stick them together.

What’s worse is his superior officer (also like high af) approved it.

I’m very much looking forward to the musical episode. When Buffy did a musical it was a nice change of pace and a lot of fun. I’m hoping for much the same from SNW’s musical.

I just received the scrips for Endgame from the Voyager Documentary and this part I’ve highlighted caught my eye.

I only have Voyager available on Paramount+ so the quality isn't great on streaming but I cant see any of the parts mentioned in the scrip.

Maybe if someone has the DVD they could check or I wonder if the VFX department didn’t get the memo.
