Here is an alternative Piped link(s): https://piped.video/watch?v=t2fiYLnrMrs

Piped is a privacy-respecting open-source alternative frontend to YouTube.

I'm open-source, check me out at GitHub.

I honestly thought it was the singer first.

[–] Facelikeapotato@lemmy.ml 15 points 1 year ago (1 children)

That certainly puts a different, scarier spin on the headline.

Sounds like what a side character would read in the news when the protagonist is trying to keep their aquaman moonlighting secret.

This was in Mount Maunganui. Which can be translated as Mount Big Mountain.

"Say you, native, by what name do you call that mountain?"

Translated from English:

"Blah blah blah blah?" [Points at the big mountain]

[–] luthis@lemmy.nz 1 points 1 year ago

Yep. It's kind of like Loch Ness Lake which can be translated as Lake Ness Lake.

I compare it to a kiss from a rose on the gray…sofa.

🎶 Ba-ya-ya, ba-da-da-da-da-da, ba-ya-ya~🎶

Until the last sentence I thought this was about the erratic behavior of Seal, a singer known for his song "Kiss from a Rose" from the motion picture movie Batman and Robin.

[–] Llewellyn@lemm.ee 3 points 1 year ago

Does song implies that Batman was kissed by Robin? I have never watched the piece.

I don't think getting seals out of your home is part of marine biologist training. He might be better-equipped to identify the species of seal and lecture on its mating habits.

They get out through the door like yourself idiot human
