A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. A showerthought should offer a unique perspective on an ordinary part of life.

It's normal to criticize other social networks from within a social network, specially if the criticism is what forced you to move on in from some place you loved. Reddit might have wanted to be your abusive girlfriend, but the fediverse is no girlfriend at all, it just is the service at its heart.
