To everyone having a login problem, it seems that resetting the password solves the issue! Maybe this means that the upgrade corrupted the stored hashes somehow?
Resetting the password gets you in that one time the password was reset. Trying to login after that still doesn't work.
clearing the browser cache however locks us out of our accounts, only a password reset can let us in again (and shortly after we're disconnected again as Grangle1@lemm.ee pointed out)

Login page is 404 erroring to me, at least the XmlHTTPRequest is that's associated with the button.
yup, requests to the login endpoint return a 404 status code
Clearing the cache fixed my problem.
I guess there is some deep JavaScript file in my cache pointing to the 0.17.4 location of login that needed to be force updated.
